  • How do I get started?

    We're really excited to figure out how we can be helpful to you! You can reach out to us on our website or by giving us a call. We're here to talk about your business needs and find a great virtual assistant for you. When you get in touch, we'll set up a first chat to learn what you want.


    Then, we'll find a Virtual Assistant that’s just right for you and tailor the hours to your needs.  


    Once you're happy, your Virtual Assistant will get to work!


  • How soon can a VA start once I decide to hire them?

    Once you are ready to move forward with onboarding the Virtual Assistant, we can finalize the agreements and determine the start date. In some cases, if a suitable candidate is not immediately available, there may be a recruitment period of 10 to 15 business days.


  • Can I get a dedicated VA?

    Absolutely, our clients have their very own dedicated Virtual Assistants. We've found that this works well for creating a strong and focused working relationship. When you have a dedicated Virtual Assistant, they're all about your tasks and projects – they're totally committed to helping you out. This special setup guarantees you get customized and reliable support that's perfectly suited to what you and your company need.

  • Can I hire more than just one Virtual Assistant?

  • Will my Virtual Assistant be able to work unsupervised?

    Your Virtual Assistant is really good at doing things on their own, without too many

    interruptions like you'd find in an office. 


    For managed VAs, we keep an eye on how they're doing every day to make sure everything runs smoothly. These Virtual Assistants are used to working on their own, especially from a distance. They're great at following your directions and getting tasks done. But to make sure everything goes well and meets what you want, it's a good idea to communicate clearly, give them specific  things to do, and catch up with them regularly. This teamwork helps them do their own thing while still making sure it fits with what you need.


  • What happens if I'm not satisfied with my Virtual Assistant?

    If you're not happy with your current Virtual Assistant for any reason, we'll either find a more suitable replacement based on your feedback or give you the option to pick a new candidate.


  • What is the scope of work of my Virtual Assistant?

  • Do you train your VAs?

    Our Virtual Assistants are enthusiastic learners who go through comprehensive training involving various sessions that include lectures, exercises, roleplay, and assessments. This prepares them with both practical skills and the right mindset for effective client account management. Once they begin working for you, you can also provide additional training according to your specific needs and requirements.


  • How do I know that my VA can do what I need them to do?

    Our Virtual Assistants undergo extensive training to effectively manage client accounts. We guarantee the best match for you by meticulously vetting clients and contractors, considering skills, needs, and personality. 


  • What happens if there is a work interruption?

    In the event of work disruptions such as power outages, internet problems, or emergencies, our Virtual Assistants are trained to promptly inform you and our management team. Rest assured, Core Hire Desk is fully dedicated to foreseeing potential challenges, ensuring that we're well-prepared to provide you exceptional client services. 


  • Where will my VA be located?

    We have both on shore and offshore Virtual Assistants. 


  • What hours do you work?

    Our operating hours are normally from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. If you need assistance outside these work hours, feel free to discuss with Core Hire Desk management. We are highly flexible and open to making the best arrangements for you.


  • Will my Virtual Assistant work on holidays?

    Whether a Virtual Assistant works on holidays depends on the terms of your agreement with Core Hire Desk and the specific arrangements in place. As per our agreement with clients, we observe Federal holidays.


  • Are your VAs fluent in English?

    Absolutely! We ensure that our Virtual Assistants are equipped with advanced skills and a high level of proficiency in both written and spoken English, given that effective communication plays a vital role in their daily tasks.

  • How much can I really expect to pay?

    The cost is determined by factors such as whether the VA’s tasks are project-based, recurring, or seasonal, as well as the skill level tier of the VA. Additionally, some clients may require multiple VAs, while others may need only fractional support. All of these factors are taken into account when calculating fees


  • What are my payment options?

    You can choose to make payments via PayPal, Venmo, ACH transfer, or by issuing a check. Account details will be provided during the preboarding process.


  • Do you have any hidden charges?

    There are no surprise fees here. However, fees from PayPal, Venmo, and applicable taxes will be included in the invoice


  • Will I be tied to a contract?

    The contract length is typically discussed during pre-onboarding. For project-based requests, no contract is required. 


  • Can I cancel at any time?

    If you choose to terminate your services, we request a written notice of 30 days in advance.


    However, should you opt to cancel your services within the initial 6-month commitment period, you will be responsible for paying the full balance of the remaining 6 months.


  • Refund policy

    Refunds will be issued at the discretion of the management of Core Hire Desk.


  • How do Virtual Assistants ensure data security and confidentiality?

    Our Virtual Assistants prioritize the security and privacy of your data by allowing you to provide new usernames and passwords, while you maintain primary master access. This complements the implementation of advanced security protocols like encryption and secure storage, providing enhanced login protection. They further reinforce commitment of confidentiality by upholding legally binding agreements known as Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
